The 4EU+ university alliance, pooling the resources and talents of six public research universities (including Charles University) aims to revolutionise research and education.

Students at Charles University’s medical faculties wasted little time pooling their strengths in the face of the emerging crisis.

The Channel Islands are located in the English Channel and what is special about them is that most have retained their original Norman language.

The Czech Women’s Curling team ranks 10th in the world rankings and last year finished sixth in the World Championship. He is a student at the Faculty of Science’s Department of Geography and is extremely intelligent. As in off the charts: an IQ of 160+. Radek Pileček. A young man known for having cast doubt on elections results and who came in second in the ‘Smartest Czech’ competition.

Held at the institute’s headquarters at Prague’s Výtoň and at the European Union’s Prague House in the city centre, the conference was described as a key event by ÚJOP deputy director Dr. Dana Hůlková Nývltová when I met with her on the conference’s final day.

erMarch 29 was supposed to have been the day the UK officially left the European Union. While it didn’t happen, it appears likely Great Britain’s departure may come as soon as April 11. With the uncertainties of Brexit, some worry the Erasmus+ student exchange programme will suffer.

 

 

 

Foreign students who have the chance to study at Charles University under the Erasmus+ program often describe their semester or two in Prague as “unforgettable”. Not only is Erasmus+ an opportunity to advance in one’s chosen major but it’s a chance to experience something different in the heart of Europe.
