    Martin Rychlík

    He earned his Ph.D. in Ethnology and Cultural History/Theory from the Faculty of Arts at Charles University. He has been working in the media since 2000, having held positions at the Czech News Agency (ČTK), the weekly Euro, Česká pozice, and Lidové noviny. From October 2019 to September 2023, he served as the head of Charles University’s media department. In 2009, he studied Science Communication at the University of Tokyo. He was a member of the Scientific Council of the Neuron Foundation and serves on the UNICEF Advisory Board. He has written four monographs, most recently The History of People (Academia 2022).
